waiting for her brothers to come home…

I finally got to try out my new camera today. I love it!!!

I took these with my 50mm 1.4 lens. My new lens (70mm-200mm 2.8) is great…but so heavy! I was using it on my other camera yesterday and I loved it.

I will post some of the boys this weekend, promise! They both have games this weekend and I can try out the new lens and camera together.  yeah…i posted one of Jake…never made it to Domenick’s Lacrosse game. And he’s going through a little “awkward” stage in front of the camera…{maybe it’s those huge new teeth…poor guy}

It was a beautiful, warm day here in sunny California and Ava insisted on wearing the sweater and hat while collecting her rocks. That’s her absolutely favorite thing to do now…that’s her pink “rock bucket” she’s holding…how cute is she!

Now that everyone is booking their Spring Sessions, they are asking what to wear. You can go more traditional and do jeans or khakis and the basic white long sleeved shirts. This is a great classic look…but if want something a little more urban, go with the layered look and coordinating colors. Try not to put in too many mixes of prints. Here’s a quick sample of a great look for the family picture.

Along with the new website is a new blog…let’s just hope I update this one more often!

Here’s a quick picture from this weekend. It was opening day for Little League here in Coronado and here’s my little “Sand Gnat”! What a silly name for a team…goes along perfect with his silly personality.

I had a great weekend photographing some fun families for the mini sessions at the beach! The weather was perfect for pictures…little chilly but no one seemed to mind. I’m working on the  slideshows but I had thought I’d give a sneek peek of some. I’ll post more later today…enjoy! 

Here’s  some from the weekend….I had so much fun with these two little ones! They both have the most amazing hair color and such a sweet personality. Mrs B-  you’re a lucky Mom! I hope Dad enjoys these for Father’s Day!

I love these gallery displays! Clients have such a hard time deciding what pictures would look good in a gallery and this makes it so much easier. You tell me your favorites and I’ll present them in a gallery display…how easy is that!
